Who’s Behind American Heritage Concrete?
We want to make it easy for families and businesses to know who they are hiring up front.
When hiring outside contractors, it’s common for homeowners to have questions or fears that revolve around trust & reliability. It is not uncommon for the team at American Heritage Concrete to hear about projects that have gone wrong, and families who have been betrayed by untrustworthy contractors and shoddy work.
At American Heritage Concrete, Phil and Ray know first hand how hard families work to be able to make updates to their homes and businesses, as well as how importance of receiving skilled & honest craftsmanship. When you choose American Heritage Concrete for your next project, you’re hiring family men with over 30 years of experience in the construction field.
Our desire is to serve God, our families, and our clients with the best of our talents.
Ray Lao started his career in Chicago as a financial planner, but as he says, God had a sense of humor by spinning him 180 degrees from white collar to blue collar work. He says his happy place is crawling on knee boards in wet concrete, swiping as he goes!
Ray married his soul mate, Jess, in 2013 and they moved to Pennsylvania. Since then, they’ve raised 3 adorable kids that keep them on their toes!
Some of Ray’s interests include hunting, field to table cooking, physical & mental training, as well as deepening his faith. One of his favorite projects to work on for AHC customers is an intricate stamped concrete design.
Ray loves to help clients bring their project dreams to reality!
Phil Lamb has worked in the concrete trade since the age of 16. With over two decades of experience in this field, he feels validated in letting you know that you need to “stop calling it cement, it’s concrete”.
Phil married his high school sweetheart, Jamie, in 2005. Together they have three kiddos whom Jamie homeschools, while also running her own business. Business is just a way of life for the Lambs!
Some of Phil’s hobbies include urban homesteading, hiking, camping, hunting, pursuing God & playing bass. His favorite type of concrete project work to complete is the good ol’ standard curb & sidewalk!
Our hope is that as you get to know our heart behind the work we do, you will see why we love serving our clients, providing excellent concrete services, and honoring God with our talents!
